About the New Priory Veterinary Practice
Our Senior Partner, Gordon Richards, started running New Priory Veterinary Practice in 1975. New Priory has operated out of the property on the Deneway ever since then, however over the years it has grown significantly, going from a one Vet practice to the current 7½ full time Vets who work for New Priory and PETS Emergency Service. The Peacehaven branch has been in operation from its current site since 1988.
Our aim has always been to provide your pet with a high standard of clinical care, in a compassionate environment where you and your animal are made to feel as welcome as possible.
We actively encourage all of our staff to continue their study while working, and as a result we have several Vets on site with further qualifications in areas such as Diagnostic Imaging and Cardiology. Several of our nurses have or are working towards their Advanced Diplomas in Medical/Surgical Nursing, the highest Veterinary Nursing qualification currently available.
An important part of our commitment to your pet's wellbeing is our availability 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. To this end, PETS Emergency Service operates from our Brighton surgery. Please visit the PETS website to find out more about this service.
