Payments
Our terms and conditions require payment at the time of treatment.
Not paying for treatment at the time costs the practice an ever increasing amount in administration and this makes it difficult for us to keep prices down.
Administration charges may be added to your account if we have to send you an invoice.
PETS (Priory Emergency Treatment Service) clients must pay at the time of treatment. A late payment fee of £21.40 will be added to the account immediately if it is not paid at the time of treatment.
We refer outstanding accounts to a debt collection agency for recovery whose charges will be added to and payable with the invoice debt.
Insurance
Please pay at the time of treatment.
Claiming direct from the insurance company results in significant administration problems. We have withdrawn the right to claim direct from some insurance companies because we have had so many problems with subsequent payment. You may not claim direct from Pet Healthcare, E&L, More Than, IGI, SAGA and London & Edinburgh.
We would like to continue offering a claim direct option for clients with large bills but we will only be able to continue to do so if this is not abused.
All clients with outstanding accounts will be sent an invoice at the end of each month. A charge of £10 will be made for claiming direct any bill less than £100. This will need to be paid at the time the claim form is submitted.
