Request medication to be dispensed

This allows you to request medication too be collected from the Brighton hospital or Peacehaven clinic.

Please allow at least 48 hours for medication to be dispensed.

We must have examined your pet within 6 months to dispense on-going medications or one year for routine parasite treatments. This is to comply with our professional duty of care and legal obligations. In certain circumstances we may request we re-examine your animal before dispensing medication.

We will usually only dispense medication for clients of New Priory Vets Brighton.

Under certain circumstances we may dispense certain specialist medication particularly heart medications if your own vet requests we do this.

Many medications are "unlicensed" for use in a specific species or for the treatment of specific disease. The use of unlicensed medication is common in pet animals however you should be clear on why a particularly medication is being administered and any potential risks associated with this. After collecting your medication please check your medication and if you have any concern regarding the individual drugs, doses or tablet sizes please discuss this with us.

Please allow at least 48 hours for prescription requests to be processed. We suggest you ring us before visiting to ensure your items are ready to be collected.

There is a charge per prescription.
